But it just feels like such an odd way to do it that I have to wonder if there’s some bizarre technical mess involved. Rather, yes, obviously it could just be Epic trying to lock in users. I can only wonder if it’s something like a difference in how the H3 account/save data is handled between versions, and there’s just not a big enough audience for Epic -> Steam to merit making/supporting the tool…? …the lack of progress being transferred across 3 is definitely odd, huh.
